As well as a harbour and castle with walled garden, the village boasts a boating club supporting many water sports including windsurfing, yachting and kayaking and it's reputed that over 100 golf courses are found within an hour's drive. St Andrews is 35 miles, Stirling 30 miles and the festival city of Edinburgh's unrivalled cultural pursuits are only 17 miles away by road (or a 30 minute journey from Aberdour's charming traditional railway station). Shops and pubs serving food 200 yards.

Two bedrooms. Sitting/dining room with gas fire and sofa bed (for alternative sleeping). Kitchen with range style cooker. Double bedroom. Bunk bedded room. Bathroom/WC (shower over bath).

Reviews
This is a fantastic cottage in a lovely village. We have been 3 times and love it. Its a great base for exploring Scotland but is also in a location close to beaches and countryside and fantastic for us and our dogs.

Wellside Cottage is a lovely residence, that is centrally located in Aberdour and is handily placed for excursions throughout Scotland. The countryside and places to visit make it an ideal base for exploring the area. The people are very friendly, and we look forward to booking again next year.
